“I Love You the Movement is one of the most innovative blessings of our generation.  A simple and unique way of demonstrating Love such as affectional hugs and personal sentiments of encouragements are what we need in this day and time.  It has made a vital impact of the Auburn Avenue Baptist Church and the Bellefontaine Community. With suicidal cases on the rise, we need to see the Hand of God working and I Love You the Movement in my opinion is His source of healing.  Blessing to Reverend Doctor Felicia Poe for your tireless and dedicated passion for this calling.  May God continue to Bless you and the I Love You The Movement.”

Rev. Dr. Settle W. Townsend, Jr.
Pastor of the Historic Auburn Ave Baptist Church (Bellefontaine, OH)

“As a psychologist deeply involved in suicide prevention, I find I Love You The Movement to be an exceptional resource. Their approach to spreading love and hope is not only heartwarming but also effective in touching the lives of those who might be struggling in silence. The emphasis on the power of simple gestures like hugs and verbal affirmations offers a unique and compassionate method of suicide awareness. Also, It’s a reminder that sometimes, the smallest act can have the most significant impact on mental well-being.”

Psychologist, Pastor

“I Love You the Movement exemplifies compassion, love, and encouragement. I Love You The Movement offers Mental Health Awareness and Advocacy utilizing its core values of Love, Compassion and Support led by Dr. Felicia L. Poe, an amazing woman of God. I invited Dr. Poe to conduct a workshop for the local women’s High School basketball team, upon the return to school from COVID shutdowns, and after months of isolation and remote learning; these young ladies were struggling emotionally.  Some had friends who had even struggled with thoughts of suicide.  Dr. Poe conducted an inter-active workshop titled S.T.O.P. (Start Thinking On Purpose) that helped to remind these young ladies just how wonderful they are.  Dr. Poe’s genuine passion and kindness won over the hearts of both the players and the coaches! We are grateful for her commitment to the community and her continued fight for mental health awareness.”
